We are used to thinking that technology is for young people - they get accustomed to new devices more fast. However, it looks like somebody forgot to explain that to 89-year-old Kimiko Nishimoto. For the last 17 years this Japanese old lady has been taking and editing photos. And her style is pretty unique.
Nishimoto devoted herself to the art of photography when she was 72. At the time her son organized photography courses for beginners, and she decided to attend them, without even suspecting that this art would become her passion.
Kimiko Nishimoto fell in love with photography and started to create weird and funny self-portraits.
10 years ago she had her personal exhibition in the local museum of her native town.
Soon she will exhibit her works in an art gallery in Tokyo. The exhibition will be called Asobo Kane (translated as "let's play") and will be opened from the 15th of December till the 18th of January.
