A swimmer won a golden medal and gave it to a girl on the stands

Adam Peaty from Britain won a golden medal and decided to give it to a girl on the stands who had been cheering him. He even signed it.

Adam took part in European swimming championship in Copenhagen. He won a golden medal in the 100 m race. He also set a record of 55,94 seconds.

It's not the first victory for him: he is a European, world and Olympic champion.

British Swimming Federation confirmed that the act of the athlete wasn't a fake.

Of course, it's not the first noble gesture of this man. He's already given a medal of his to a random boy in April, 2017.
